Copyright and Takedown Policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
QueekSpace respects the rights of creators. This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints and what happens to repeat infringers.
What we do when you publish
Our terms require you to publish only content you own or are licensed to publish. Links to other people's work are allowed only as attributed references. Where we can, we check that posts come from an account or website you have verified.
Reporting infringement
Send a notice to copyright@queekspace.com with:
- your name, address, phone and email;
- identification of the work you say is infringed (a URL or a copy);
- the exact URL on QueekSpace of the material you say infringes it;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We aim to respond to complete notices within 5 business days. Incomplete notices may be returned so we can act quickly and accurately.
What happens next
- We review the notice and, where it is substantiated, remove or disable the material and tell the account holder.
- The account holder may send a counter-notice with the same level of detail, explaining why the material is lawful. If a genuine dispute remains, we may keep the material down while the parties resolve it, or restore it if the complainant does not take the matter further.
- We keep a record of notices and outcomes.
Opting out of previews
A publisher who does not want their pages previewed on QueekSpace can:
- disallow our crawler (
QueekSpacePreviewBot) inrobots.txt, or - add
<meta name="nopin" content="nopin">to the page, or - email copyright@queekspace.com and ask us to stop.
We honour all three. Posts that link to an opted-out site stay up as plain attributed links — title, creator and destination — but we stop fetching or caching a preview image or description.
Repeat infringers
An account that receives a second substantiated copyright complaint is suspended, and a third results in termination. We may act sooner for serious or commercial-scale infringement, or where an account exists mainly to republish other people's work.
False claims
If you knowingly make a false or misleading complaint, you may be liable for the losses it causes, including to the account holder. Make sure you own the rights or are authorised to act before you report.
Our own content
If you believe material we published infringes your rights, use the same address above. The QueekSpace name, logo and interface belong to us; do not reuse them without permission.
