Terms of Service
Last updated 21 October 2026
Version 2026-10-21.2. These terms are a contract between you and QueekSpace ("QueekSpace", "we", "us"). By creating an account, or by using the site without an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What QueekSpace is
QueekSpace is a link-first discovery service. People publish links to content they own, and visitors browse, save and compare those posts. We do not sell goods, process payments between buyers and sellers, or ship anything. Any transaction is between you and the other party.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian permits your use of QueekSpace.
- Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade limits, suspensions or blocks.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
3. Content you publish: only your own
You may publish only content that you own, or that you have explicit permission to publish. That means:
- Your own photos, videos, writing, products and pages.
- Content you are licensed or commissioned to publish, where the licence allows it.
- Links to other people's work are allowed only as attributed references — you must name the creator, keep the original link, and must not present the work as yours, re-upload it, or remove watermarks, credits or rights notices.
You must not upload or republish another person's photos, videos, music, artwork or text without permission. Embedding third-party media through the platform's own official player is not a republication by you, but the underlying rights stay with the creator.
When you publish, you confirm that this rule is met. We may ask you to prove that you control an account or website before accepting posts from it, and we may remove posts that we cannot verify.
4. Licence you give us
You keep ownership of your content. To operate the service, you grant QueekSpace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, host, reproduce, format, create thumbnails and previews of, display and distribute the content you publish, and to make it available to other users through the service and in promotions of the service.
For links and previews, this covers the title, description, thumbnail and any excerpt we cache. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups, caches, or content others have already saved or shared, which expire on their normal schedule.
You warrant that you have the rights needed to grant this licence, and that your content does not infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights.
5. Third-party sites, previews and embedded media
Posts may link to or embed content hosted elsewhere. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or availability. Embedded players are served by the platform that hosts the media, and use of them is subject to that platform's terms. If a linked page changes or disappears, the post may stop working.
When a post links to a page, we may show a preview: the page title, a short excerpt, and a small thumbnail, together with the name of the site or creator and a link to the original. Previews are brief, attributed and exist to send readers to the original work. They are not a republication of that work, and all rights in the previewed material remain with its owner.
We honour publishers' opt-outs. If a site's robots.txt disallows our
preview bot, or a page carries a nopin or no-preview instruction, we do not display a
fetched preview for it. A publisher can also email
copyright@queekspace.com to ask us to stop previewing
their site; we will do so while we assess the request. In that case the post remains as a plain
attributed link, without a preview card.
6. Prohibited content
The following may not be published on QueekSpace, whether in a post, a title, a description, a tag, an image, or a link:
- Pornography and adult sexual content. Explicit sexual material, sexual services, sexual content offered for sale, and links to sites that host it. Sexual content involving minors is never permitted under any circumstance; we block it, preserve the evidence and report it to law enforcement.
- Firearms, ammunition and other weapons. Guns, ammunition, magazines, silencers, explosives, detonators, and listings or links offering them for sale — including parts and accessories whose only purpose is a weapon.
- Illegal goods and services, stolen goods, and anything that breaks product-safety, consumer-protection or advertising law.
- Hate speech, threats, harassment, and targeted abuse.
- Malware, phishing, scam pages and deceptive links.
- Misleading health, medical, financial or investment claims, fake reviews, and undisclosed paid promotion.
We screen posts automatically before they are stored, and we may remove anything that breaches this section and suspend or close the account that published it. Screening cannot see inside every image or video frame, so a post that slips through is still a breach of these terms and will be removed when we learn of it.
7. Acceptable use
You must also comply with our Acceptable Use Policy: no spam, no impersonation, no scraping or attacking the service, no evasion of limits, and no publishing of content you do not have the right to publish.
8. Copyright complaints and takedowns
We provide hosting for links and text that members submit. We do not review every post before it appears, we do not authorise or encourage infringement, and we do not claim ownership of what members publish. When we receive a valid notice of infringement we act expeditiously to remove or disable the material, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
If you believe content on QueekSpace infringes your copyright, follow the process in our Copyright and Takedown Policy. We remove or disable access to material that we reasonably believe infringes, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly making a false complaint may expose you to liability.
9. Verification and honest identity
Claims of ownership are checked by asking you to place a code on an account or website you control, or by confirming an email address through a third-party sign-in. You must not claim an account, website or identity that is not yours. Doing so is a serious breach and may result in immediate termination.
10. Sellers, buyers and no endorsement
Sellers are solely responsible for what they publish, the accuracy of their descriptions, their prices, and compliance with the laws that apply to them (including consumer law, advertising disclosure and product safety). A post on QueekSpace is not an endorsement by us. Always confirm details with the seller before buying.
11. AI-assisted features
Some features generate answers from information a seller supplies. They can be incomplete or wrong. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial or safety-critical decisions.
12. Our intellectual property
The QueekSpace name, logo, interface and software belong to us. You may not copy, modify or redistribute them except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
13. Termination
You may stop using QueekSpace at any time and can delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we are required by law, or to protect other users or the service. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.
14. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content published by others is accurate or lawful.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of QueekSpace or from content published by you or another user.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in that period, or AUD 100.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify QueekSpace against claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from content you publish, from your breach of these terms (including the ownership rule in section 3), or from your infringement of another person's rights. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own unlawful conduct.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify account holders by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use QueekSpace after that means you accept the updated terms. The version you accepted is recorded on your account.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that place have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
